“I want to celebrate you guys,” Brittany Snow said, looking around the room at The Retaility x September Letters dinner in Los Angeles. “I genuinely love [everyone here] and I'm so appreciative. Whether you're in the book or you've been a part of my life in such a monumental way, you have really shaped the person that I am [and] also helped us create ‘September Letters,’ which is now helping so many people.”

The event was held to honor Snow and her “September Letters” co-founder Jaspre Guest’s new guidebook as well as their mental health platform's three-year anniversary.

“We started September Letters to help people feel less alone through sharing their story,” Snow said. “It's so important to know that people are there for each other. It's about finding people that you align with in a setting where you can connect. Sometimes you’re not sitting around talking about all of the things that are ailing you. Maybe you're talking about fashion or art and you can form a connection that’s helpful within that space as well.”

“We're likeminded,” Scharf said. “Aspirational [should not be] about what you own, but the way you live your life. Jaspre and Brittany, the way you live your life is something [to be admired]. It's very much in line with my belief system, which is sharing your story matters and it really is what connects us all. We have so much more in common than anybody ever realizes. Thank you [for letting The Retaility honor you].”

Snow put the spotlight back on guests. “I have to thank you guys for not only being here but for being a part of this charity and this movement,” she said, “because you guys made this all happen for us and we're just so appreciative that we can celebrate the book and what we've done.”

After speaking, Snow looked at her “September Letters” co-founder to see if she had anything to add. “Jaspre?”

“That was great!” Guest chimed in as everyone laughed.

Guest, later, added: “We couldn’t be more excited to have this opportunity to celebrate our book and the three year anniversary of September Letters with The Retaility.”
